Lake Natron and Lake Eyasi – are two alkaline lakes in northern Tanzania that offer unique experiences for visitors interested in eco-tourism and cultural tours. Oldonyo Lengai, also known as the “Mountain of God,” is an active volcano located in the Great Rift Valley. It is the only active volcano in Tanzania and stands at 2,962 meters (9,718 feet). The climb is challenging, but the views from the top are truly spectacular. Oldonyo Lengai is also a sacred site for the Maasai people, who believe that their god Ngai lives on the mountain.
