The Central Kalahari Game Reserve is the second-largest game reserve in the world and an off-the-beaten-path destination in Botswana. The reserve is home to a wide variety of wildlife, such as giraffes, hyenas, and wild dogs. The best time to visit is from December to April, when the animals give birth, and the predators are more active.

You can go on a game drive or a walking safari to explore the reserve and spot the wildlife. You can also visit the Deception Valley, a vast and picturesque landscape that inspired the famous book and movie, The Gods Must Be Crazy.
